What does the Divemaster course consist of?
The Divemaster program is the first step on an exciting journey. Earn the respect of your dive buddies and become an ambassador for diving by taking the Divemaster program. All you need to get started is 40 logged/verified dives and certifications in Deep Diving, Navigation, Night & Limited Visibility or at least 5 logged/verified dives of experience in each area plus Diver Stress & Rescue. You will receive the Dive Guide certification upon successful completion of the Divemaster program.
When your interest is in turning your passion into a profession by guiding certified divers, teaching Ecology programs, assisting instructors or even becoming an instructor yourself, your next step is to upgrade to Divemaster with a minimum of 60 logged/verified dives. Upgrade to Divemaster immediately or at any time thereafter by self-studying the Science of Diving materials and passing the Digital Final Exam that makes you an SSI professional.

What are the age requirements?

The minimum age is 18 years old.
Do you dive all year round in Tenerife?
- Yes, Tenerife offers good diving conditions all year round, so we are open every month, there is always something to see underwater!
What is the water temperature in Tenerife?
- The water temperature in summer is around 24°C and in the winter months it can drop to 19°C.
- There are no large temperature changes between the surface and the depths.
- You are usually pretty good in a 5 mm wetsuit, although 7 mm is also fine.
What do I need to bring?
- Bathing suit and towel

How long is the course
- It will depend on your certification at the time you enroll in the program. The Divemaster program with all prerequisites is 3 weeks.
can i climb teide or fly after diving?
- Following the rules, after a normal dive you must wait 12h before boarding the plane or going to Teide.
- After several dives or really deep dives, the norm is 18h.
- In general terms: Don’t do it the same day after the dive, but you can go to Teide and jump directly into the water afterwards, no problem!
