ScubaDivePro Tenerife Terms and Conditions

Welcome to our Terms and Conditions section. Here you will find all the relevant information about our booking policies, cancellations, refunds, and responsibilities. We invite you to read carefully to ensure a safe and transparent experience.

General Policies

Reservations: Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of payment.
Ages: Diving activities are restricted to persons over 10 years of age (with parental consent for those under 18).
Health: It is mandatory to complete a medical questionnaire prior to the activity.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations by the customer:
- Up to 72 hours before the activity: Full refund, except for a 5% commission for payment platform management costs.
- Less than 72 hours: Penalty of 50% of the total price.
- Less than 24 hours: No refund.
Cancellations by ScubaDivePro:
- In case of adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, a new date or a full refund will be offered.

Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days.
Payments made by credit card will be refunded in the same payment method used.

Course Cancellation Policy

Once the reservation has been made, it will not be refunded, as it is used for the payment of the course theory, blocking dates in the calendar and other management costs.
The client will be offered an alternative date for the course.

Customer Responsibility

Clients must follow the instructors’ instructions at all times.
ScubaDivePro is not responsible for personal loss or damage to other people’s equipment.
Diving insurance is mandatory for advanced courses.

Video and Photo Policy

In compliance with current legislation on personal data protection, right to privacy and intellectual property, in Scubadivepro we establish the following policy regarding the use of images and videos captured during our activities:
1. Image capture
During the diving activities organized by the center, photographs and videos may be taken for promotional, educational or souvenir purposes for the participants.
2. Express consent
Prior to the capture of any image where an identifiable person appears, your express verbal consent will be requested, and the purchase of the videos will confirm the express consent of the customer in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Without such consent, no individual recordings will be made and no images will be used in which you may be recognized.
3. Use and dissemination of the images
The images captured may be used exclusively by Scubadivepro for:
– Direct shipment to participants as a souvenir of the activity.
– Publication in own digital channels (web, social networks) for promotional purposes, only with prior consent.
4. Rights of participants
Participants may, at any time, revoke their consent and request the removal of their images from the center’s digital media. To do so, they should write to: info@scubadivepro.com
5. Intellectual property
All videos and photographs taken by the center’s staff are the property of Scubadivepro, and their modification or commercial use by third parties without express authorization is prohibited. Clients who receive audiovisual material may use it exclusively for personal and non-commercial purposes.
